Resumption of trading at NEPSE might take couple of days

Nepal Stock Exchange has not been able to resume trading since Baishakh 12, the day the massive earthquake measuring 7.9 in Richter Scale struck Nepal.

While the General Manager of NEPSE Sitaram Thapaliya declined to share any details regarding resumption of trading, President of Stock Brokers’ Association of Nepal Priya Raj Regmi said resumption of trading at NEPSE might take a couple of days.

“Many of the employees have gone home to be with their family after the earthquake. The trading in NEPSE will resume once normal life will be back on track,” said Regmi.
