Prime Minister Balendra Shah Holds Discussions on Flood Relief and Recovery
Prime Minister Balendra Shah has initiated discussions with local representatives and Members of Parliament from various disaster declared districts following recent flooding caused by the Bhote Koshi river.
The meeting began at 11:00 AM at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Darbar. It brings together local government heads from 15 disaster affected local units across Nuwakot, Rasuwa, Dhading, Gorkha, and Tanahun districts, along with members of the House of Representatives.
The discussions center on reviewing the post flood situation, assessing current conditions, planning immediate next steps, and addressing long term rehabilitation and recovery efforts in the affected regions.
