Prabhu Insurance's net profit increases by 1.15% to Rs 25.40 crore in Q4; EPS at Rs. 24

Prabhu Insurance Company Limited (PRIN) has published its fourth-quarter report of FY 2076/2077 with a slight increase in Net Profit by 1.15%. The company’s profit has increased from Rs. 25.11 crores to Rs. 25.40 crores in this quarter.
As per the unaudited report for the fourth quarter published today, PRIN has a paid-up capital of Rs. 1.05 Arba with a reserve and surplus of Rs. 21.86 crores. The company has Rs. 70.42 crores in the insurance fund.
The net earnings from the premium decreased by 3.57% to Rs. 49.11 crores till Q4, 2076/2077 from Rs. 50.93 crores in the corresponding quarter of the last fiscal year. The company has earned Rs. 21.32 crores from reinsurance income and investments.
The company’s Net claim payment increased by 6.44% to Rs. 17.69 crores in Q4 of FY 2076/2077. Till this quarter, the company has issued 66,841 policies.
Prabhu Insurance’s EPS stands at Rs. 24 whereas Net worth per share stands at Rs. 196.62 in the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2076/2077
