IPO Proposal of Himal Water Park & Village Hotel Added to SEBON's Pipeline

The IPO proposal of Himal Water Park & Village Hotel has been added to SEBON's pipeline.
Himal Water Park & Village Hotel has submitted a proposal to issue 41,65,000 shares at a par value of Rs. 100 per share. This IPO issue will generate Rs. 41.65 crore for the company. Kumari Capital Limited has been appointed the issue manager for this issue.
It is only after the approval from the regulatory board SEBON, the company can float the shares to the local and the general public.
CARE Ratings Nepal Limited (CRNL) has assigned an issuer rating of ‘CARE-NP B- (Is)’ to Himal Water Park & Village Hotel Limited (HWPL), indicating a high level of risk in the company’s ability to service its financial obligations on time within Nepal.
In addition, CRNL has reaffirmed the long-term bank facility rating at ‘CARE-NP B-’ and the short-term bank facility rating at ‘CARE-NP A4’ for the company.
Himal Water Park & Village Hotel Limited (HWPL) is a private limited company incorporated on August 8, 2012. The company operates a four-star hotel in Birgunj, Nepal, spread over 11,551.53 sq. meters of land and offering a total of 63 rooms. HWPL commenced partial operations in December 2021 and is expected to begin full-scale operations by the end of FY 2025.
