Prabhu Bank takes financial literacy to Khalanga of Jumla; aims to make rural women financially literate on establishment and growth of women led business

Prabhu Bank, in an association with Society of Economic Journalists of Nepal (SEJON), has organized a financial literacy event at Khalanga of Jumla district.

The event was also attended by Mayor of Chandanath Nagarpalika Ms. Kantika Sijuwal, and was facilitated by formal ED of Nepal Rastra Bank Mr. Trilochan Pangeni, SEJON chair Mr. Bhim Gautam, and Karnali province head of the bank Mr. Sharad Timalsina who together presented on several facets of financial empowerment among rural women of Jumla, as per the media statement.

The event saw participation of around 40 women around Khalanga who received sensitization and hands on knowledge on several facets of women led business under the banking support, as per the media statement.
