NMB Laghubitta Calls AGM On Chaitra 25; When's the Book Closure Date?

NMB Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (NMBMF) has called its 13th AGM on 25th Chaitra, 2082. The meeting will be held in Hotel City Square Pvt. Ltd., Pokhara, starting at 10 am that day.

These are the agendas of the AGM:

1. To discuss and approve the Annual Report for the fiscal year 2081/82 presented by the Chairman on behalf of the Board of Directors.
2. To discuss and approve the Balance Sheet as of Ashad-end 2082, Profit & Loss Account, Cash Flow Statement, and related schedules for FY 2081/82 along with the Auditor’s Report.
3. To appoint an Auditor for FY 2082/83 as per Section 111 of the Companies Act, 2063, and Section 63 of the BAFIA, 2073, and to determine their remuneration.
4. To approve the appointment of one director from the promoter shareholding group.
5. To authorize the Board of Directors or its designated official to proceed with a potential merger/acquisition with other licensed “D” class microfinance institutions, including the formation of a committee, the appointment of a valuer, signing of agreements, and all related actions.
6. To authorize the Board of Directors or its designated official to carry out any required changes to the Articles of Association or Bylaws as directed by the regulatory authorities.
7. Misc.

Chaitra 17 is the book closure date. Thus, the shareholders maintained before that day are entitled to attend the AGM.
