NIC ASIA Laghubitta appoints Mr. Laxman Chalise with 16 years of banking experience as new CEO; also appoints Mr. Bibhur Kumar Agrawal as BoD
NIC ASIA Laghubitta, through its 84th board meeting, has appointed Mr. Bibhur Kumar Agrawal as its board member.
Mr. Agrawal received his oath of designation and secrecy from the chairman of the microfinance institution Mr. Kapil Dhakal amid a program on Kartik 4, 2077, as per the media statement.
Moreover, the microfinance has also appointed Mr. Laxman Chalise as its new CEO to be effective from Kartik 4, 2077. CEO Mr. Chalise started his career at Nepal Bank, has 16 years long experience with different commercial banks, and has a Masters in management stream to his academic credentials, as per the statement.
The young microfinance currently has its reach to 33 districts via its 105 branches serving a lot of rural households.
