New share certificates for Nepal Housing, Peoples Finance shareholders

Citizens Bank International Limited is distributing new share certificates to the shareholders of Nepal Housing & Merchant Finance Limited and Peoples Finance Limited, the two companies it had acquired three months ago.

Nepal Rastra Bank had given its go ahead for the acquisition on Chaitra 26, 2071. The three companies began operation as a single entity from Baishak 25, 2072.

The new share certificates are being distributed from Jestha 10 from the office of share registrar Global IME Capital Limited located at Rastriya Nach Ghar, Jamal, Kathmandu.

The shares of Nepal Housing & Merchant Finance Limited and Peoples Finance Limited were disqualified and barred from trading following the acquisition. The shareholders the two acquired companies can start trading in the shares after they get new certificates of Citizen’s Bank International.
