The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a loss today, losing by 12.83 points (0.41%) to settle at 2,620.92. This follows a 10.87 point gain in the previous session.

The benchmark index opened at 2634.81, touching an intraday high of 2,637.10, while the lowest point was 2,613.50. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 4.71 Arba, with 10,153,226 shares traded across 336 companies through 64,407 transactions. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 44 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 14.92 Kharba.

SY Panel Nepal Limited (SYPNL) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 23.41 crores. The stock closed at Rs. 1056.00.

Wean Nepal Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (WNLB)) led the gainers' list by 10.00% each.

Meanwhile, Global IME Sammunat Yojana -2 (GBIMESY2)) recorded the steepest drop, falling 10.00%.

Among sectors, the Others Index registered the highest gain, gaining 0.01%, while the Trading Index saw the highest loss at 1.09%.
