NEPSE Suspends Trading for Two Days Citing Unfavorable Circumstances

Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE), the sole secondary market for securities trading in Nepal, has announced a complete halt in trading activities for two consecutive days, citing the prevailing unfavorable circumstances.

According to NEPSE, the decision follows multiple requests from trading members and investors to temporarily suspend transactions. The suspension will be in effect on Bhadra 25 and 26, 2082, in accordance with Rule 21(1) of the Listing and Trading Regulation, 2075.

Regular trading will resume once normal conditions are restored.
