NEPSE Surges By 48.57 Points Crosses 2,600 Level as Turnover Jumps Above Rs. 8 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a double-digit gain today, gaining 48.57 points (1.87%) to close at 2,633.62. This follows a 25.55 -point gain in the previous trading session.

 

The benchmark index opened at 2,671.1 and fluctuated between an intraday high of 2,679.90 and a low of 2,610.45 before settling at the close. Total turnover for the day amounted to Rs. 8.29 Arba, with 20,387,413 shares traded across 347 companies through 78,869 transactions. The total market capitalization stood at Rs. 45.30 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 15.31 Kharba.

 

Reliance Spinning Mills Limited (RSML) topped the turnover chart, recording transactions worth Rs. 32.70 crores. The company’s stock closed at Rs. 2,879.00.

 

Dhaulagiri Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (DLBS) led the gainer's list with a 14.96% gain. The stock closed at Rs. 1,119.00.

 

Meanwhile, Everest Bank Limited (EBLD86) recorded the Highest fall, falling by 5.55%. The last traded price of the company was Rs. 1,090.00.

 

Among sectors, Life Insurance recorded the highest gain, gaining by 2.59%, while Manufacturing And Processing recorded the least gain, down 0.77%.
