NEPSE slips meager 3.03 points; trading of promoter shares amounts 32% of turnover

NEPSE index moved down by meager 3.03 points or 0.32 percent to close at 930.70 level.

The benchmark index faced slight ups and downs throughout the day.

Altogether 725,179 unit shares of 126 scrips were traded today worth Rs 247.39 million.

Trading of 3 promoter shares LBLPO (14.17%), NABILP (9.1%) and NIBPO (8.7%) were done amounting Rs 79.11 million or 32 percent of the total turnover.

Share Price of Nagbeli Laghubitta and NIDC Capital surged up by more than 5 percent.

On the contrary share price of JFL, SBBLJ, SIL and MLBBL dropped by more than 4 percent.

Trading of Commercial Bank’s Shares were done more than 32.55 percent. Development Banks and
Insurance Companies shares were traded more than 10 percent.

Index of Trading plunged maximum today amounting 0.77 percent. Similarly Banking index and
HydroPower index dropped by 0.51 percent and 0.53 percent respectively.

Insurance Index gained meager 0.1 percent to close at 3833.23 level.
