NEPSE slips meager 0.72 points; closes at 944.98 level

The benchmark index of secondary market of Nepal slipped slightly down by 0.72 points or 0.08 percent to close at 944.98 level.

Similarly Sensitive and Float also plunged by 0.01 and 0.07 points respectively to settle at 202.02 and 66.65 level respectively.

Opening at 945.10 level this afternoon the local bourse remained within the corridor of 2 to 3 points throughout the day.

Among the sub-indices, Banking gained meager 0.13 points to close at 834 level.

Development (792.80) and Finance (530.76) also surged by 1.14 and 0.01 points respectively.

On the Contrary Hotels (1966.30), HydroPower (2194.25) and Insurance (3884.77) plunged by 10.12 points, 3.81 points and 21.78 points respectively.

Others remained at 704.91 levels.

Altogether 695,269 unit shares of 117 companies were traded through 1,274 transactions worth Rs 172.80 million.
