NEPSE Slips 1.54 Points to 2,733.59; SOPL Tops the Gainers List

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a loss today declining by 1.54 points (0.05%) to settle at 2,733.59. This comes after a loss of 20.27points in the yesterday's trading session.

The benchmark index opened at 2,739.71 and fluctuated between an intraday high of 2,741.31 and a low of 2,701.86 before settling at the close. Total turnover for the day amounted to Rs. 6.44 Arba, with 12,382,017 shares traded across 357 companies through 63,732 transactions. The total market capitalization stood at Rs. 46.69 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 15.66 Kharba.

Agricultural Bond (8 Year) (ADBLB86) topped the turnover chart, recording transactions worth Rs. 57.00 crores. The company’s stock closed at Rs. 1000.00.

Sopan Pharmaceuticals Limited (SOPL) and Led the gainer's list with 15.00 %.The stock Closed at Rs. 349.70 .

Meanwhile, Crest Micro Life Insurance Limited (CREST) recorded the Highest fall, falling by 9.16 %, the last traded price of the company was Rs. 1289.00.

Among sectors, the Other Index registered the highest gain by 0.29%, while finance Index recorded highest fall, falling by 1.01%.
