NEPSE Settles Today's Session With Single-Digit Loss: Market Capitalization Stood at Rs. 43.62 Kharba

In today's session, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) lost 8.14 points (0.30%) to close at 2,623.83. This follows a 15.08-point loss in the previous session.

The index opened at 2,631.91, reaching an intraday high of 2,642.07 and a low of 2,622.72. The total turnover stood at Rs. 9.37 Arba, with 24,641,261 shares exchanged across 314 companies through 79,777 transactions. The market's total capitalization was Rs. 43.62 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 14.52 Kharba.

Radhi Bidyut Company Limited (RADHI) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 58.04 Crores. The stock closed at Rs. 665.10.

Two companies led the gainers' list, hitting the upper circuit limit.

Meanwhile, Bhugol Energy Development Company Limited (BEDC) recorded the steepest drop, falling 10%.

Among sectors, the Finance Index posted the highest decline of 1.24%, whereas the Hydropower Index saw the highest gain of 0.61%.
