NEPSE Index Surges By 33.29 Points ; All Sectors Close in Green Except Trading Sector

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a significant gain, gaining 33.29 points (1.26%) to close at 2,664.06. This follows a 0.94 point gain in the previous trading session.
The benchmark index opened at 2,626.86 and fluctuated between an intraday high of 2,664.06 and a low of 2,626.86 before settling at the close. Total turnover for the day amounted to Rs. 7.45 Arba, with 19,397,548 shares traded across 348 companies through 63,744 transactions. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 45.85 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 15.63 Kharba.
Liberty Energy Company Limited (LEC) topped the turnover chart, recording transactions worth Rs. 32.50 crores. The company’s stock closed at Rs. 250.00.
Beni Hydropower Project Limited (BENH) led the gainer's list with a 15.00% gain. The stock closed at Rs. 536.70.
Meanwhile,10% Prime Debenture 2088 (PBD88) recorded the highest fall, falling by 2.96%. The last traded price of the company was Rs. 1,222.70.
Among sectors, the Life Insurance recorded the highest gain, gaining by 1.59%, while Trading Index recorded the highest loss, down 0.44%.
