NEPSE Index Dips By 0.34% To Close at 2,655.38 Levels; Overall Volume Stood at Rs. 12.51 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a loss today, losing by 9.08 points (0.34%) to settle at 2,655.38. This follows a 13.69-point loss in the previous session. 

The benchmark index opened at 2,665.23, touching an intraday high at 2,672.42, while the lowest point was 2,654.69. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 12.51 Arba, with 28,607,685 shares traded across 311 companies through 1,02,895 transactions. The market capitalization stood at Rs. 44.23 Kharba, while the float market capitalization was recorded at Rs. 14.91 Kharba.

Ngadi Group Power Ltd. (NGPL) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 1.08 Arba. The stock closed at Rs. 408.

Pure Energy Limited (PURE) led the gainers' list, hitting the upper circuit limit each.

Meanwhile, Gurans Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (GLBSL) recorded the steepest drop, falling 9.90%.
 
 
Among sectors, only the Hotels and Tourism Index registered the increase, gaining 2.14%, while the Trading Index saw the highest loss at 1.09%.
