NEPSE gains 4.5 points; each sub-index lands in green

After continuous fall for 4 trading days, NEPSE index recorded surge of 4.5 points or 0.49 percent to close at 922.47 level.
More than 10 percent of the turnover trading were done of NLIC whereas NCCB remained in the top traded shares.
Total turnover of the day stood at Rs 189.20 million where 518,581 unit shares of 131 companies were traded.
The local bourse was around 916 level till the initial trading hour and there after gained points and reached up to 924 level amid the surge in buying trend in the market.
Share Price of Insurance companies like NLG Insurance and Surya Life Insurance surged maximum today.
On the contrary PADBL, NNLB, KKBL, SHBL and NUBL were among the top losers of the day.
More than 40 percent of the trading were done of commercial banks shares. HydroPower and Development banks shares were traded more than 10 percent.
Others Index gained 0.82 percent, Banking and Hotels gained by 0.53 and 0.57 percent respectively.
