NEPSE Gains 25.23 Points and Makes All-Time High; 8 Companies Hit Positive Circuit Breakers

The NEPSE index gained 25.23 points today and closed at 2,636.68. This is the highest closing in the history of NEPSE. The index had created a new all-time high just yesterday.

The index opened at 2,634.47 and went on to make an intraday low at 2,619.17. While the index went as high as 2,642.47, it ultimately closed at 2,636.68. With this, total volatility of 23.3 points was observed in the trading session today.

19,646,578 shares traded hands via 90,202 transactions. The trading of 206 scrips brought the total market turnover to a little over Rs. 8.76 Arba.

While the float index gained 1.65 points and closed at 181.90, the Sensitive index is at 481.78 after gaining 6.77 points.

NIC Asia Bank Limited (NICA) has the highest individual scrip turnover of a little over Rs. 56.01 crores. The shares of Civil Bank Limited (CBL) traded the most.

A total of 8 companies have technically hit the 10% positive circuit today. Meanwhile, Mirmire Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (MMFDB) lost the most 4.91%.

Nine sectors gained while three others closed red. While the sector "Others" gained the most 2.6%, Microfinance lost the most 0.62%.
