The House of Representatives on Wednesday unanimously approved a proposal to send a key bill focused on updating and repealing several financial laws to a parliamentary committee for detailed review.

Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle presented the proposal to forward the 'Bill to Amend and Repeal Certain Nepal Laws Related to Finance, 2083' to the designated committee for clause-by-clause discussion.

During the session, lawmakers also observed a moment of solemnity, passing a condolence motion to honor the memory of former Deputy Prime Minister and Constituent Assembly member Gopalman Shrestha following his passing.

Following these proceedings, Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal announced that the House has been adjourned until its next meeting scheduled for Tuesday, Shrawan 19, at 1:00 PM.
