Nepal SBI Bank launches savings deposit account for women

Nepal SBI Bank Limited has offered new savings deposit scheme “NSBL Nari Bachat Khata” on the occasion of “International Women’s Day” celebrated on 8th March each year.

Bank has said that it was introducing this product with a view to honoring emerging demands of the market and enhancing self-determination and financial independence among the Nepalese female.

“NSBL Nari Bachat Khata” is targeted at Nepalese Female above 16 years of age. The account can be opened with minimum balance of Rs. 500/- with interest @ 3% p.a. to be calculated on daily balance and payable quarterly.
