Nepal SBI Bank elects Mr. B.R.S. Satyanarayana as new Chairman
The 438th meeting of the Board of Directors of Nepal SBI Bank Limited held on 4th July, 2019 has unanimously chose Mr. B.R.S. Satyanarayana, Director representing State Bank of India to the post of Chairman of the Board of Directors of Nepal SBI Bank Ltd.
Mr. Satyanarayana, currently posted as Chief General Manager, International Banking at SBI's International Banking Group, Corporate Office, Mumbai looks after the Bank's network in Asia, Africa and Australia. As the newly elected Chairman, Mr. Satyanarayana also took the Oath of Office and Secrecy from the Deputy Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank Mr. Shiba Raj Shrestha amidst Oath taking ceremony held today at Nepal Rastra Bank, Central Office, Baluwatar, Kathmandu.
Director Mr. Narendra Singh Bista, Acting Director Mr. Birendra Datta Awasthi from Nepal Rastra Bank and Bank's Directors Mr. R.S. Ramesh, Mr. Bala Krishna Shrestha, Mr. Arjun Kumar Gautam, Mr. Keshav Raj Acharya, and Managing Director Mr. Anukool Bhatnagar along with former chairman of the Board of NSBL & DMD(SBI) Mr. Sujit Kumar Varma, Dy. CEO/COO Mr. Subhakanta Kanungo, Chief Financial Officer Mr. Priya Ranjan, Chief Credit Officer Mr. Dev Raj Adhikari and Company Secretary Mr. Vishma Neupane from NSBL were also present in the ceremony.
