Nepal Insurance profit soars 481.74% to Rs 4.55 crore

Nepal Insurance Company Limited (NICL) has reported a massive profit rise of 481.74 % for the third quarter of 2071/72.

The insurance company’s profit rose from Rs 78.25 lakh in the corresponding quarter of 2070/71 to Rs 4.55 crore in the Q3 of the current fiscal year

The company’s net earnings from premiums grew slightly to Rs 32.90 crore from Rs 32.48 crore in the same quarter last year.

The number of Nepal Insurance policyholders decreased to 43,418 by the end of this quarter from 46,039 reported in the same period of last year.

The insurance company has a paid up capital of Rs 26.38 crore. It’s EPS stands at Rs 17.26 and net worth per share at Rs 199.04.
