Market monitoring from today
KATHMANDU:
Following numerous complaints related to quality and pricing of corrugated sheets being supplied in the market, the government is preparing to mobilise an inspection team to ensure that manufacturers are not cutting corners to make a quick buck. A monitoring team has been formed comprising technicians from the Nepal Bureau of Standards and Metrology (NBSM). It is going to inspect the factories from Wednesday, according to Bishwo Babu Pudasaini, director general of NBSM. The corrugated sheets should have minimum 28 gauge as per the standard set by the NBSM.
