Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank to convene AGM on Kartik 29, 2076; Major agenda to approve 17.89% dividend

Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank (MLBL) will be convening its 18th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Kartik 29, 2076 (November 15, 2019) at All in one mart, Crown Banquet, Min Bhawan, Kathmandu from 10 AM onwards.
The 440th Board Meeting held on Kartik 07, 2076 has decided on following agendas to be discussed in the AGM:
- Approval of 17.89% dividend worth Rs 50.89 crore. The dividend has been broken down as follows:
- Bonus Shares: 8% worth Rs 22.75 crore
- Cash Dividend: 9.89% worth Rs 28.14 crore (Including tax amount)
- Total: 17.89% worth Rs 50.89 crore
- Approval of Annual Report to be presented by the Board for FY 2075/76 along with financial statements of the year.
- Appointment of auditor for the year and fixation of remuneration for the same.
- Changing the promoter:ordinary shareholding ratio from 53.98:46.2 to 52.49:47.51.
- The book closure date for the purpose of AGM and dividend distribution has been set on kartik 20, 2076. Therefore, shareholders maintained on Kartik 19, 2076 will be eligible to participate in AGM and claim dividend.
