Machhapuchchhre Bank reports 38.45% rise in Q3 earnings

Machhapuchchhre Bank Limited (MBL) has reported a net profit rise of 38.45 percent in the third quarter of the current fiscal year 2071/72.

In its unaudited quarterly report published today, the commercial bank has stated that it has earned a net profit of Rs 44.01 crore in the third quarter, up from Rs 31.79 crore in the corresponding quarter of the last fiscal year 2070/71.

The bank net interest income has risen to Rs 1.01 arba, up from Rs 77.80 crore in the corresponding quarter.

It mobilized Rs 41.52 arba in deposits and extended loans of Rs 35.09 arba compared to Rs 33.81 arba in deposits and Rs 27.53 arba in loans in the corresponding quarter of previous year.

The bank’s non-performing loan has dropped to 1.76 percent from 2.20 percent in the same period of the previous fiscal year.

Its EPS now stands at Rs 21.14 and its net worth per share at Rs 145.80.

Similarly, Machhapuchchhre Price Earnings Ratio stands at Rs 26.82 and its CD ratio stands at 78.43 percent.
