Lower Jogmai Khola Hydropower Project Resumes Power Generation

Asian Hydropower Ltd. has announced that electricity generation from the Lower Jogmai Khola Hydropower Project (6.2 MW), located in Ilam district, has resumed successfully.

According to the company, continuous heavy rainfall in Koshi Province between Ashwin 17 and 19, 2082 B.S. had caused severe damage to the physical infrastructure of the project, leading to a complete shutdown of power generation.

Following repair and restoration works, the plant has now come back into operation, and electricity production from the project has resumed, the company stated.
