Lockdown lifted from yesterday midnight; Domestic and international flights will resume from August 17
The government has officially lifted the lockdown imposed to check the spread of Corona Virus, with effect from yesterday midnight. The lockdown had been imposed since March 24.
The information was shared by government spokesperson Dr. Yubaraj Khatiwada at a press meet held at the Ministry of Information and Communications today.
Likewise, hotels and restaurants will also be allowed to open from July 30 by observing the necessary health protocol. Mass gathering, feast, party, seminar, however, will not be allowed.
The government has already opened public transportation. Furthermore, trekking, mountaineering and the tourism sector too open from July 30.
Domestic and international flights will resume from August 17.
