Krish Yadav Crowned Glocal Teen Hero Nepal 2025 for Outstanding Youth Leadership

Seventeen-year-old Krish Yadav from Dhanusha was honored as the “Glocal Teen Hero Nepal 2025” at an award ceremony organized by Glocal Pvt. Ltd. at The Plaza, Lalitpur. Recognized among six finalists for his exceptional leadership, creativity, and social impact, Krish has made remarkable contributions as a content creator, storyteller, and youth leader.

He hosts and produces shows like TNC Debates and contributes to The Nepali Comment, engaging thousands in socio-political and historical discourse. Beyond media, he leads initiatives like the Himalayan Linguistics Olympiad, Project Bibek, and Project Stitch, fostering youth education, research, and cultural entrepreneurship.

The finalists were selected through rigorous evaluation of their achievements, sustainability of their work, and social contributions. The jury included leaders from Coca-Cola Nepal, WWF, Golchha Group, VOITH, and the European Union.

Supported by numerous partners, including the European Union, Plan International, Golchha Group, and several banks, the Glocal Teen Hero initiative has, for over a decade, empowered teens to drive positive change, highlighting youth leadership, creativity, and social innovation across Nepal.
