Jogmai Cascade Hydropower Project Resumes Power Generation After Restoration

Sanvi Energy Limited has announced that electricity generation from its's 5.2 Mw Jogmai Cascade Hydropower Project in Ilam district, has resumed after being fully suspended due to severe damage caused by continuous rainfall.

The project had remained fully shut down between Ashoj 17 to 19, 2082 B.S after incessant rainfall across Koshi Province caused extensive damage to the physical structures of the project, forcing a complete halt in power generation.

Following repair and restoration works, the plant has now been brought back into operation, and Sanvi Energy Limited is pleased to inform stakeholders and the general public that electricity generation from the project has been fully resumed.
