Ingwa Hydropower Limited has fully restored electricity generation at its 9.7 megawatt Upper Ingwa Khola Small Hydropower Project, located along the border of Panchthar and Taplejung districts. Operations at the plant had come to a complete halt after heavy, continuous rainfall on Jestha 9, 2083 triggered severe flooding and landslides. The disaster caused extensive damage across major infrastructure, including the project's intake, pipeline, powerhouse, and transmission lines.

Following extensive repair and maintenance work, the company initially brought Unit 1 back into service on Shrawan 21, 2083. Power generation has now reached full capacity after Unit 2 was successfully restored and reconnected to the grid on Bhadra 23, 2083.
