Guru Prasad Poudel Appointed as Spokesperson of Nepal Rastra Bank

Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has appointed Executive Director Guru Prasad Poudel as its new spokesperson, effective from Wednesday.

According to the central bank, Poudel is currently serving in the Human Resource Management Department. Over the years, he has taken on key responsibilities in several departments of the bank, including the Banking and Financial Institutions Regulation Department, Payment Systems Department, Foreign Exchange Management Department, and Bank Supervision Department, among others.

With his extensive experience in various sectors of the central bank, Poudel is expected to strengthen NRB’s communication and public relations functions.
