Gurans Life Q3 earnings drops slightly to Rs 1.58 crore

Gurans Life Insurance Company Limited (GLICL) has posted a slight decline in quarterly earnings. The company’s profit in the third quarter of 2071/72 dropped 1.55% to Rs 1.58 crore from Rs 1.60 crore reported in the third quarter of 2070/71.

The company’s net earnings from premiums grew to Rs 40.33 crore from Rs 31.81 crore in the same quarter last year.

Gurans Life’s policy holders increased to 87,236 by the end of this quarter from 71,518 reported in the same period of last year.

The insurance company has a paid up capital of Rs 50 crore. Its EPS stands at Rs 4.22 and net worth per share at Rs 131.43.
