Government Unveils 'Immediate Reform Action Plan–2082 BS' to Boost Industrial Growth

The Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies has announced the 'Immediate Reform Action Plan 2082 BS' to Enhance the Effectiveness of Public Services aimed at accelerating growth in Nepal's industrial, commercial, and supply sectors. The plan includes 20 targeted reforms for the industrial sector, 8 for the commercial sector, and 11 for the supply sector, to be implemented within the next five months.
Minister Anil Kumar Sinha formally introduced the action plan following a ministerial-level meeting, stating that the initiative is designed to swiftly adapt to evolving economic conditions and improve service delivery. The plan was developed through extensive consultation with stakeholders from across the industry and commerce sectors.
The Ministry has set an ambitious timeline, with 7 tasks to be completed by month of Kartik, 11 by Mangsir, 1 by Poush, 18 by Magh, and 2 by Falgun, while some actions will be continuously implemented. The plan is expected to foster a more favorable industrial environment and drive sustained economic growth.
