Gold Prices Plunge By Rs. 11,600 In a Single Day

The fine gold market experienced a significant drop, with prices falling by Rs. 11,600 per tola in a single day.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA), fine gold is currently priced at Rs. 241,900 per tola, down from Rs. 253,500 per tola recorded earlier.

Similarly, Tejabi gold is trading at Rs. 241,200 per tola, reflecting a decrease of Rs. 11,600 from the previous day’s Rs. 252,800 per tola.

This downturn follows the record peak on October 17, 2025, when fine gold touched Rs. 258,000 per tola.

Meanwhile, silver prices have also declined by Rs. 265 per tola, now trading at Rs. 3,015 per tola, compared to Rs. 3,280 per tola the day before.
