Global IME Bank Honored for Highest Remittance Inflows During Nepal Rastra Bank Anniversary
Global IME Bank Limited (GBIME) was recognized as the bank with the highest remittance inflows in Nepal for the financial year 2079-80, securing 21.1 percent of the total remittances among banks and financial institutions.
This acknowledgment came during the 69th-anniversary celebration of Nepal Rastra Bank, where Governor Maha Prasad Adhikari presented a letter of appreciation to Global IME's CEO, Ratna Raj Bajracharya, at a special ceremony in Baluwatar.
The award highlights the bank's contribution to Nepal’s economic stability, socioeconomic reform, and external sector balance.
