Dr. Mahabir Pun Contesting HoR Election as Independent Candidate from Myagdi-1

Mahabir Pun has filed his nomination for the upcoming March 5 House of Representatives (HoR) election from Myagdi-1 constituency as an independent candidate. He submitted his candidacy at the Office of the Chief Election Officer in Beni, becoming the first candidate to do so from the constituency.

Pun stated that his election agenda focuses on amending impractical policies, rules, and laws, as well as promoting job creation and national prosperity.

Earlier on Monday, Pun resigned from his post as Minister for Education, Science and Technology in the interim government, which was formed with the mandate to conduct the fresh HoR election, in order to contest the polls.
