There are only a handful of companies on NEPSE whose share price currently trades above the Rs. 2,000 mark, making this a fairly exclusive group among all listed stocks. In this analysis, we have looked closely at these high priced companies to understand what stands behind their pricing. Alongside their current trading price, we have examined their 52 week high, the number of shares actually available for public trading, their earnings per share, and their price to earnings ratio.
Together, these numbers help explain why some of these stocks are priced the way they are, and whether that price is being supported by strong earnings or simply by a limited supply of shares in the market.
Companies above 2000 Price and their 52 Week High:
Unilever Nepal (UNL) is trading at Rs. 46,200, down more than 7% from its 52 week high, the shallowest decline among the group. Bottlers Nepal (BNL) stands at Rs. 14,405, down more than 14% from it's 52 week high price, while Rastriya Beema Company (RBCL) is at Rs. 13,388, down more than 17% from its 52 week high, showing a relatively deeper correction.

Companies above 2000 Price and their floated share:
Among the high priced stocks, Unilever Nepal (UNL) has the lowest floated shares at just 138,105, followed by Aatmanirbhar Laghubitta (ANLB) at 292,021 and Bottlers Nepal (Terai) Limited (BNT) at 302,500. These low public floats indicate relatively limited share availability in the market.

Companies above 2000 Price and their Earning Per Share:
Uniliver Nepal Limited (UNL) posts by far the highest EPS in this group at Rs. 1,712.27, which combined with its thin 138,105 share float and 85% promoter holding helps explain its elevated trading price of Rs. 46,200. Bottlers Nepal (Terai) (BNT) follows with an EPS of Rs. 544.86, the second highest in the list, supporting its relatively resilient price performance noted earlier. Bottlers Nepal Limited (Balaju) (BNL) comes third with an EPS of Rs. 419.57, rounding out the top three earners by a wide margin over the rest of the group.

Note: EPS was taken from companies Q4 report of F.Y. 2082/83
Companies above 2000 Price and their Price to Earning Ratio:
Bottlers Nepal (Terai) Limited (BNT) carries the lowest P/E ratio in this group at 21.23, making it the cheapest counter relative to earnings despite its high EPS of Rs. 544.86 noted earlier a combination that stands out as relatively attractively valued within this basket.
Uniliver Nepal (UNL) follows at 26.98, still comparatively modest given its exceptionally high EPS of Rs. 1,712.27, reinforcing that its elevated share price is earnings backed rather than purely speculative.
At the other end, Salt Trading (STC) and Reliance Spinning Mills (RSML) trade at the richest multiples, 133.09 and 129.71 respectively.

Note: P/E Ratio is calculated taking LTP of August 31, 2026 and F.Y. 2082/83 Q4 EPS report.
