Chandragiri Hills Cable Car Operations Halted Following Violent Protest

Chandragiri Hills Ltd. has announced a temporary suspension of its cable car services after its bottom station facilities were severely damaged during a violent protest. According to the company, on Bhadra 24, 2082 (Tuesday) at around 4:25 PM, a large group of demonstrators entered the bottom station premises and caused extensive damage. The areas affected include the main cable car operational unit, gondola parking and storage units, the company’s accounting and administrative offices, restaurant and coffee shop, and cable car ticket counters.

The company stated that the vandalism and arson have completely disrupted daily operations, and as a result, all business activities and regular services will remain suspended until further notice. Chandragiri Hills Ltd. has urged the public to be aware of the disruption and apologized for any inconvenience caused. Authorities are reportedly investigating the incident to identify those responsible and to prevent further disruptions.
