Buddha Bhumi Nepal Hydro Power to Invest in 64 MW Hydropower Projects

Buddha Bhumi Nepal Hydro Power Company Limited (BNHC) has decided to invest in two hydropower projects with a combined capacity of 64 MW while maintaining a 51% ownership stake.

The company’s Board of Directors made the decision at its meeting held at 3:00 p.m. on Shrawan 5, 2083 BS.

Under the decision, Buddha Bhumi Nepal Hydro Power will invest in the 43 MW Upper Nyasem Hydropower Project and the 21 MW Upper Nyasem Khola-A Hydropower Project, which are associated with Sindhujwala Hydropower Ltd.

Following the investment, Buddha Bhumi Nepal Hydro Power will hold a 51% shareholding in the combined 64 MW hydropower projects.

The company informed the concerned authorities about the decision through an official disclosure.
