API Power to Sell 15 Lakh Units Of Ingwa Hydropower Shares in Secondary Market

API Power Company Limited has decided to sell 15 lakh units of shares of Ingwa Hydropower Limited held under its ownership in the secondary market, following a strategic plan approved by the company’s board.
The decision was made during the Board of Directors’ meeting held at 5:00 PM on Jestha 29, 2083 BS. According to the company, the move aligns with its broader business strategy and investment planning.
In compliance with Section 11 of the Directive on Pre-Approval and Regulation of Public Issuance of Shares by Electricity-related Companies, 2078, issued by the Electricity Regulatory Commission, the company has also made a public notice dated Jestha 30, 2083 BS for general information.
API Power stated that the share divestment process will be carried out in accordance with regulatory provisions and market procedures. The company believes the transaction will support its future financial and operational plans while ensuring transparency for shareholders and the general public.
The announcement marks another strategic financial move in Nepal’s hydropower sector, where companies continue to optimize investments and strengthen capital management amid growing energy market opportunities.
