Another Week, Another All-Time High: NEPSE Knows No Bounds

The NEPSE index gained 3.66 points in a highly volatile day today and closed at 2,640.34. This is the highest closing in the history of NEPSE. The index had created a new all-time high just last week.

The index opened at 2,667.27 and went on to make an intraday low at 2,619.58. While the index went as high as 2,667.59, it ultimately closed at 2,640.34. With this, total volatility of 48.01 points was observed in the trading session today.

24,305,066 shares traded hands via 93,039 transactions. The trading of 207 scrips brought the total market turnover to a little over Rs. 8.83 Arba.

While the float index gained 0.42 points and closed at 182.32, the Sensitive index is at 479.58 after losing 2.2 points.

Nepal Bank Limited (NBL) has the highest individual scrip turnover of a little over Rs. 61.42 crores. The units of Siddhartha Investment Growth Scheme-2 (SIGS2) traded the most.

A total of 6 companies have technically hit the 10% positive circuit today. Meanwhile, Best Finance Company Limited (BFC) lost the most 3.37%.

Seven sectors gained while five others closed red. While Mutual Funds gained the most 6.4%, Life Insurance lost the most 1.96%.
