7.5 MW Indrawati III of NHPC continues its operation

7.5 MW Indrawati III Hydro Power Project of National Hydropower Company Limited (NHPC) which is situated at Sindhupalchowk District, worst hit area by the earthquake, is continuing its operations.  

The devastating earthquake of April 25, series of aftershocks that followed the main shake and Landslides has brought some damages in Indrawati III Hydro Power Project but its operation remains unaffected.

Kumar Pandey, Chairman of NHPC, said the maintenance of minor damages in the hydropower project has been done and the project is continuing its operations.

Indrawati III, 7.5 MW Hydro Power Project was commenced in 1999.
