5 lakh units of NIC Asia Bank debenture listed for trading

NIC Asia Bank Limited has listed 5,00,000 units "NIC Asia Bond 2077" debenture in NEPSE for trading.
Issuing a notice today, the commercial bank has stated that it had signed an agreement to list the bond with Nepal Stock Exchange Limited yesterday, and the actual trading of the bond will take place after seven days.
NIC Asia Bank had floated its debentures worth Rs 50 crore at 7.25 per cent interest rate on May 4.
The ‘7.5% NIC Asia bond 2077’ issued at the face value of Rs 1,000 per unit had closed on May 7.
The maturity period of the redeemable bond is six years.
Altogether 10 crore units were reserved for general public while the remaining 40 crore units will be issued to institutional investors.
