166 Complaints Filed Within 6 Hours of Finance Ministry’s Email Grievance System

Finance Minister Rameshore Khanal’s newly introduced “Complaint Emailbox” has quickly gained traction, drawing 166 submissions within the first six hours of its rollout.
Khanal said the system was created to spare citizens from making time-consuming visits to Singha Durbar. Instead, people can now raise issues directly through email. He added that he has already replied to dozens of complaints and instructed follow-up action in most cases, with the rest to be addressed shortly.
According to Khanal, the initiative marks a shift toward more accessible and responsive public service, giving ordinary people a faster way to have their concerns heard by the Finance Ministry.
