120 Political Parties Apply for Participation in March 5 HoR Election

A total of 120 political parties have submitted applications to the Election Commission (EC) seeking participation in the House of Representatives (HoR) election scheduled for March 5. The EC had initially opened party registration from November 17 to 26, later extending the deadline by four additional days.

According to EC Spokesperson Narayan Prasad Bhattarai, all 120 parties submitted their documents along with their proposed election symbols by Sunday. The Commission will now review the applications, with final approval expected by December 6.
