3rd edition of Himalayan Hydro Expo kickstarts in Kathmandu; sees massive rally of electric vehicles to promote use of clean energy

The third edition of Himalayan Hydro Expo has kickstarted at Brikutimandap in Kathmandu from Saturday which was inaugurated by President Hon. Vidhya Devi Bhandari.

The expo saw a massive rally of electric vehicles in a bid to promote clean energy in the nation. The title sponsor of the event, NMB Bank, has also announced vehicle loan in 9.99% interest for electric vehicles amid the event where the government has committed to promote Pharping hydro power as the site of historical tourism, as per the media statement.
