Yeti Airlines’ aircraft averts accident at Bhairahawa Airport

KATHMANDU, Aug 20:

An aircraft of Yeti Airlines averted an accident at Bhairahawa Airport on Thursday evening, thanks to the prompt action by the crew members.

28 passengers were on on board the plane that was taking off to Kathmandu.

Marketing Manager of the airlines, Roshan Regmi informed caption duo Manish Shah and Bimala Gurung took the aircraft to grassy field when a flock of birds raced toward the plane while it was speeding on the runway.

“Accident was possible if birds had hit the plane,” Regmi told Myrepublica, “Efficiency of crew and prompt decision avoided possible mishap.”

All the passengers are safe and another aircraft has been sent to bring them to the capital.
