WorldLink Launches ‘Beat The Speed’ Season 3 Nationwide Cricket Hunt Across 23 Cities to Discover Fast Bowlers
WorldLink Communications Limited has launched Beat The Speed – Season 3, a nationwide cricket talent hunt focused on identifying Nepal’s fastest young pace bowlers. The campaign builds on the success of previous editions, which produced emerging talents like Hikmat Mahara and Kiran Chand, both of whom received training opportunities in India and recognition in domestic leagues.

This year’s edition began in Janakpur and will cover 23 cities across Nepal before concluding with a grand finale in Kathmandu, where the top 10 bowlers will compete for the title. The competition will feature experienced judges Gyanendra Malla and Kalam Ali, along with international cricket commentator Andrew Leonard, who will participate in select city events and host the finale.
Winners will receive cash prizes up to NPR 100,000 along with training opportunities at the Just Cricket Academy in Bangalore, India. The initiative continues to promote grassroots cricket development in Nepal by offering nationwide exposure and professional-level training pathways.
