With a 0.09% Uptick, NEPSE Settles at 2788.36 Level; ; Overall Volume Stood at 7.46 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a gain today, gaining 2.62 points (0.09%) to settle at 2,788.36. This follows a 10.50 -point loss the previous session.

The benchmark index opened at 2789.54, touching an intraday high of 2,802.14, while the lowest point was 2,784.15. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 7.46 Arba, with 19,258,445 shares traded across 320 companies through 76,542 transactions. The market capitalization stood at Rs. 46.56 Kharba, while the float market capitalization was recorded at Rs. 15.76 Kharba.

Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited (NRIC) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs.47.17 crores. The stock closed at Rs. 1,590.00

Nepal Republic Media Limited (NRM) led the gainer's list with a 9.99% gain each.

Meanwhile, NIC Asia Flexi CAP Fund (NICFC) recorded the steepest drop, falling 8.31%.

Among sectors, the Others Index registered the highest gain, gaining 1.80%, while the Banking SubIndex saw the highest loss at 0.55%.
